The criteria for inclusion in this list is an item suitable for use
in a 19th century layout, with some leeway given for items that date
to the early 1900s but that kinda 'look old' :-) Thus inclusion here
is somewhat subjective, and I figure it is better to be more
inclusive, allowing each modeler to decide if a given item is suitable
for his/her own layout. These can be kits or Ready-to-Run. I tried to
provide a useful URL for each maker's items, clicking on this URL
should get you to a good description of the product.
Note that some of the kits here are out of production, but are
included because they might be available on the secondary market.
